Macon County criminal-record questions usually belong with the office that created or filed the source record. The routes below identify the Alabama agencies that handle court cases, arrest and booking material, incident reports, fingerprint-based history reviews, and expungement filings. Macon County Criminal History is privately operated, so it cannot accept an official request or act for any of these offices.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private reference site cannot retrieve or certify records, conduct an official check, correct a record, or receive an expungement filing. Send the request to the responsible public office.

Need an Official Record?

Use the source office that matches the Macon County record:

  • Circuit and District Court files: Macon County Circuit Clerk, 101 Rosa Parks Plaza, Tuskegee, AL 36083; 334-724-2614; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Sheriff and custody records: Macon County Sheriff's Office, 246 County Road 10, Tuskegee, AL 36083-4804; 334-727-2500; records-counter hours were not published
  • Police incident or arrest reports: contact the city, campus, county, or state agency that wrote the report rather than assuming the sheriff holds it
  • Personal Alabama criminal history: use the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Application to Review Alabama Criminal History Record Information
  • Municipal matters: contact the court in Tuskegee, Notasulga, or the issuing town because a city case may not be in the county docket
  • Expungement: obtain the disposition and file in the court of proper venue; the Circuit Clerk has not published a Macon-specific total fee or cover sheet

The sheriff has not published a separate records-division email, fax, fee schedule, or walk-in rule. Call 334-727-2500 before sending a written request. The County's general public-request form is not proven to be the independently elected sheriff's form, so confirm the correct custodian and delivery route first.
